Assessment of the safety of magnetic resonance imaging for patients with an active implantable medical device
The scope of the Joint Working Group ( ISO/TC 150, Implants for surgery, and IEC/SC 62B/MT 40, Magnetic resonance equipment for medical diagnosis) is to develop the Technical Specification applicable to implantable parts of active implantable medical devices (AIMDs) intended to be used in patients who undergo a magnetic resonance scan in 1.5 T and 3.0T, cylindrical bore, whole body MR scanners for imaging the hydrogen nucleus.
